Once upon a time, in a room in a grand castle, there lived a mouse and a lion. The mouse was small and timid, while the lion was mighty and fierce.
The mouse spent most of its days scurrying about the room, gathering bits of food and hiding whenever the lion appeared. The lion, on the other hand, was content to lounge about the room, basking in the sunlight that streamed in through the windows.
One day, the mouse stumbled upon a delicious piece of cheese that had been left out on a table. The mouse couldn't resist the temptation and quickly gobbled up the cheese. However, the lion saw the mouse and became enraged. The lion had been hungry and was hoping to catch the mouse for a snack.
The mouse knew it was in trouble and quickly ran for cover. It darted behind a chair and tried to make itself as small as possible. The lion roared and pounced, but the mouse was too quick and managed to escape.
The mouse and the lion continued to coexist in the room, with the mouse always on the lookout for food and the lion always on the lookout for its next meal. But despite their differences, the two came to an understanding and eventually lived in harmony. The mouse learned to avoid the lion's favorite spots, and the lion learned to let the mouse be. And so, the mouse and the lion lived happily ever after.
